Pizza Pinwheels

With layers of golden, flaky pastry wrapped around gooey melted cheese, rich tomato sauce, and your favourite toppings, they deliver all the flavours of pizza in a fun, bite-sized form. 🍕


Ingredients

● 1 x sheet puff pastry
● 1 jar of pizza sauce or 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
● 1 clove of garlic
● 80g parma ham
● 150g mozzarella (grated)
● 30g parmesan cheese (grated)
● 1 egg (for egg wash)
● Handful of fresh parsley

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.


2. If using chopped tomatoes, add to a blender, crush in one garlic clove and blitz until smooth.


3. Roll out the pastry onto a floured surface. Dollop on the tomato sauce and spread over the pastry sheet, leaving a 2cm border. Arrange the mozzarella, parma ham and parmesan evenly over the sauce.


4. Carefully roll the sheet from the longest side into a log shape. Then cut into 12 equal pieces and transfer each piece to a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush with a layer of egg wash.


5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.


6. Once baked and out of the oven, sprinkle over the parsley and enjoy!
